Just like most of other plastic surgeries the breast lift surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and can take approximately 2.5-3hours depending on the complexity of the intervention.
This surgery is basically an operation that is performed by removing the excess stretched skin that causes sagging then lifting and reshaping the breast.
Depending on the degree of sagging, the breast lifting surgery can be performed with a circular incision around the areola and vertically down to the breast fold, in a so-called lollipop shape, or “inverted T”.
After the incisions are made, the underlying breast tissue is lifted and reshaped to increase firmness and contour. The nipple and areola area are brought to the natural and required height. In some cases, the nipple can also be reduced.
To finish this procedure, the surgeon will stitch the incisions with surgical suture and seal the area.

Depending on the technique used during the operation and the breast structure, sagging does not occur for a long time after the operation.
