The shape and texture of a woman’s breasts change over the years due to various factors. In the course of life, these can noticeably lose their firmness and sag.
For some women, this can lead to psychological stress and reduced self-confidence.
Physical and sexual activities can be affected negatively. If the sagging breast is increasingly perceived as a problem, a breast lift can help.

Why a breast lift?
The circumstances and conditions of every woman are very individual and unique. As a result, the reasons for choosing a breast lift can vary widely. Nonetheless, there are some motives and drives that we encounter more often.
Hereditary weak connective tissue can lead to a sagging breast. If the breasts are particularly large and heavy, they can lose their firmness and elasticity even at a young age.
Weight loss can also cause the breasts to shrink and sag. In addition, pregnancy and the subsequent breastfeeding are often decisive for the change in the elasticity and shape of the breast. Often times, the breast loses firmness and tends to sag.
There are many ways to strengthen the connective tissue (for example with alternating showers, massages, sport), but these remedies only provide a very limited remedy and cannot stop or reverse the process. If the physical well-being and thus the quality of life are impaired, a breast lift in Turkey can help in the long term.
In general, the surgical method can vary from case to case. The incision also depends on the patient’s ideas and anatomical conditions.
Our cooperative surgeon is generally concerned with a scar-saving technique, but this depends on the individual case.
To lift and firm the breast, excess tissue is removed from the lower breast area. The remaining glandular part is reshaped, shifted upwards and attached to the muscle with sutures. Usually the areola and nipples are moved up with nerves and blood vessels. All blood vessels and nerves are preserved.
In cases of very small or uneven breasts, the breast lift can be combined with an implant.
If more volume is required with a sagging breast, the combination of breast lift with implant is usually essential.
In these cases, if an implant placement is made only, it would only provide a good result for a short time. The glandular body and the weaker connective tissue that previously led to the sagging breast remain unchanged by a simple breast reduction. This leads to further sagging of the breast and an unaesthetic breast shape.
When combining a breast lift with an implant, the elasticity is restored in the long term and volume is built up at the same time.
With a large breast, a breast lift with simultaneous breast reduction is also conceivable. With a conventional breast reduction, excess tissue is removed and the breast is then reshaped.
The patient must be aware that every surgical procedure always carries a certain risk.
General risks during operations include infections, bleeding, thrombosis or poor tolerance to anesthesia.
With the breast lift in particular, care is taken to leave no visible scars. However, despite all measures, the wound healing process can be more difficult than desired, which can lead to increased scarring.
If the breasts are very sunk, there may be a loss of sensitivity in the nipples.
A tubular breast is characterized by its tubular appearance. To correct this, a combination of breast augmentation, tightening and gland correction is usually necessary. The formation of the tubular breast is innate and cannot be prevented during development. Depending on the degree of breast deformity, women with tubular breasts often suffer from aesthetics.
A tubular breast is primarily an underdevelopment of the lower half of the breast. In medicine, the lower half of the chest is divided into quadrants and designated. The more quadrants in the lower half of the chest are missing or underdeveloped, the more tubular the appearance of the breast.
This operation should be performed by a very experienced plastic surgeon.
a lower quadrant is missing or underdeveloped
both lower quadrants are missing, the skin coat is sufficient
both lower quadrants are missing, the skin coat is not sufficiently present / shortened, the nipples are pointing downwards
all four quadrants are underdeveloped or completely absent
