Why a vaser liposuction?

The distribution and number of our fat cells is genetically determined. We cannot influence where we store most of the fat.

If the fat distribution does not meet your own requirements, it is difficult to balance the proportions through exercise and a healthy diet.

Sport and a healthy diet can change a lot in our body, but we cannot always achieve our goals on our own. The weight loss cannot be restricted to certain regions and often fat is lost in places where this is not desired and the unwanted excess fat remains.

In these cases, Vaser Liposuction provides a suitable remedy.

How does a vaser liposuction work?

Vaser Liposuction is a new and innovative form of liposuction. It is one of the gentlest and most precise methods of liposuction.

The fat is not only sucked off with the vaser technology, but can also be modeled.

With vaser liposuction, body contouring in different zones is possible using ultrasound. First, the fat tissue is separated from the rest of the tissue without damaging vessels and nerves. In the following step, fat is suctioned off in a circular manner and the areas and tissue layers that are required are modeled. Vaser liposuction enables the abdominal muscles, chest and upper arms to be defined.

This procedure is not a weight loss treatment for obesity. Rather, this procedure is used for fat distribution disorders or to correct problem areas. Under certain conditions, this procedure can also be used on the face or neck.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and the duration of the procedure depends on the number and type of areas and is between one and five hours. First of all, a large amount of fluid is injected into the surgical area before liposuction. This is done to loosen the fat cells and reduce the tendency to bleed. In the further course of the process, the fatty tissue is specifically detached from the tissue structures using the Vaser method. Particular attention is paid to protect the surrounding tissue. Finally, the loosened tissue is removed through a small incision using thin suction cannulas.

After the operation, the patient may experience muscle-cold pain, but this can be treated with painkillers if necessary. The patient is given compression clothing on site, which should be worn for approximately four to six weeks.

Like any operation, liposuction also involves certain risks.

The general surgical risks associated with liposuction include infection, bleeding, thrombosis, or poor tolerance to anesthesia.

Slight swelling or bruising may occur after the operation, but will resolve within one to two weeks.
